Hmm, I should probably make this note...

Since I'm making pretty much all my posts friends-only now, if you're on my friends list, you need to make sure you're logged in. Otherwise, you'll keep reading this comparably very short message.

Heh, why thank you.

Geez, this really is a small world. Mike friended me very recently off the gameshows community...and as for Dyo, we go to the same university and play at the same DDR machine.

You seem interesting, you shall be added. Welcome. =]

hey i can't post at UCF LJ but what does it mean if you graduate within that 2.5% range (for the buss. college it's greater than 3.833) I have a 3.83 and still have summer left!)

2.5% is Summa Cum Laude (highest honors), 5% is Magna Cum Laude (high honors), 10% is Cum Laude (honors).

and what do Valedictorians get in the CBA to be elegible?

Reply

gameshowfreak February 17 2005, 16:45:09 UTC
The person that you'd call a "Valedictorian" in CBA is the person who is graduating that semester with the highest GPA in CBA. Obviously, that can change every semester, but many times it's someone with a 4.0. (yes, even in Engineering) Since it changes every semester, they don't post those values.

With your 3.83-something, it's most likely not going to be you (even though your likelihood does increase if it's a summer graduation. It's still low, though.)
