I feel that I would be failing in my duty if I did no bring up the fact that there are two schools of thought regarding question #3, answer #3. I personally fall into the opposing camp of the answer that you provided, and at the moment I imagine that there is a great deal of popular support for this viewpoint.
BTW, do you have access to your IES mailbox right now, or is the center still closed?
