Yeah was at a fencing competition. Fenced well, ok maybe not technically well but mentally very tough. Beat people I have never won against before, finished 2nd - got a bit embarrassed in the final as the other guy walked all over me, by then I was feeling my age and the young whipper snapper (11 years my junior) just out powered me and was far far ( Read more... )

Got back from a short break to Madrid on saturday. Very nice, wonderful city, great food wine etc... and a fantastic 35 degrees C in the shade - fantastic!! Mind you that made the 13C at luton airport quite unpleasant!
