If it's any consolation, I doubt that you'll need to take it to court. They'll be far happier sorting _their_ mistake out prior to it getting to that stage, than they would going to court. But I hear that you might be trained in legal matters.. so if you do need to take it, consider it experience. :P (silver lining & all that..)
Have you made your feelings about this stuff up clear yet? Whether you're going to make a formal complaint later shouldn't stop you from letting them know what you think now. I work in the public service; squeaky wheel gets the grease. Call & talk. A lot.
They really are. In fourth year when we moved from mostly lectures to mostly the hospital I had to write them a letter explaining that I was still a full time student even though I wasn't attending any lectures in the week.
Make a formal complaint. They deserve it. Your complaint probably won't amount to anything. They no doubt need ten complaints to do anything about incompetence. So if every second should be complaint doesn't get written because people are trying to be nice - then nothing will ever happen.
Agreed. Though I stand by what I've said re: calling as well. Ask to speak with the case manager & then also their manager. Don't ask questions, demand answers & tell them that you're peeved and will be making a formal complaint. Be sure to CC it to the manager of their branch/ the case manager's branch. You should be able to find this out the easiest by calling them (& writing down names).
Also, the sooner you say something, the sooner & more likely it is that it can be dealt with before requiring further processing/ applications/ whatever. & for them to really feel the need to get you off their backs.

Except in exceptional exceptions, your soul will not be the opposite of damned, provided at least 3 and no more than 2 clauses from subchapter 8 are not satisfied.
