I gave Bernie one of Kairi's old catnip toys this morning, because Kairi didn't play with it, and Bernie went insane. He started hugging it and chewing it and grooming it, and then stepping on it and batting it around, and then chasing it when it wasn't moving. He's barely left it alone all day. Isn't that amazing? We didn't have heat this weekend. Well, sort of. We had heat on Saturday, but then in the wee hours of Sunday morning, our electricity went out because of the major wind storm that buffeted our house around.
