Yeah, I enjoyed Saw too...it amused me to see people bitching about the acting so much in the reviews I read on Rotten Tomatoes. I mean, maybe it wasn't something done completely on purpose, but it at least added a bit for me with connecting it to the wierd stylized worlds you see in a lot of giallo movies.

I had one of those smug "nobody in this theatre gets it but me" moments when the dude got all cut up in the razor wire because that was straight out of Suspiria which is one of my favorite movies.
