i went to Eden church yesterday to sing and play. it was pretty good. the sermon was really good. it dealt with the idea that God talks to each of us in His own unique and idividualized ways. he may get your attention visually by using television, billboards, etc. he may reach you with language through words, lyrics, scripture, etc. it's true

I just talked to Mike tonight about his engagement... just made me feel old now that I know people who are getting married. :) I asked him how you were doing and he said that you're alright, which is good to hear. It's been a slow semester without anything going on, really... Jess is student teaching up in Portland and is gone all the time, and I'm only taking 12 hours and not doing much... so it's been boring, and there's nobody to go on roadtrips with! :)
I hope you're doing well; you've got a lot of good people in your life, and hard times never stay around too long. Take care of yourself.
