Update on the Gimpy One

We spent the morning at the orthopedist's, and she is now fully casted and booted and etc. Much good news in the offing, actually: first and foremost, she only has to spend about a week in the wheelchair, and after that with the boot she should be able to walk (and by walk I mean hobble. Or possibly stagger). The rest of the good is that she should

Well I'm glad it's not too bad. I wish her a speedy recovery.

On another note, she's a figure skater? Cool!. Figure skating was the third sport I remember watching as a kid long ago. Right after tennis and gymnastics. My sister got me into watching them. Kristi Yamaguchi, Katerina Witt, Steffi Graf, and Dominique Dawes kept me watching those sports though.
*chuckles at memories* I remember I use to have the biggest crush on Dominique Dawes.

Anyway, tell Callie I wish her the best of luck on her path to the state championships.

I is ok, you? C took a tumble on Wednesday and broke her wrist and ankle, but is doing well, all things considered.
