All Yule all the time now

Yesterday I delivered that project, so today I started my Yule vacation. I may have to implement some corrections Monday morning, but apart from that I'm off work now for the next three weeks. Today my plan was to go downtown, withdraw a whole bunch of money and go shopping. I needed to buy stuff for myself as well as a few Yule gifts ( Read more... )

Wish you could too, I know you'd really appreciate it on all levels.

Back when Eve was my spiritual mentor, she told me that you should be careful about revealing too much about your spirit companions. I've never quite seen why myself, but it is a tradition and probably for a reason, so I'm pretty much respecting it. Especially when it comes to other people's guides. Just for you, I'll reveal that I have four companions (at this time of my life anyway). Three of them are herbivores and the fourth is an animal from the fantastic realm. One of the two that were with me in the night was my first and oldest friend, a small, furry, fast animal indigenous to Sweden. The other was my "shadow" animal, the one that represents my fears and challenges, a big, strong, fast animal that knows both how to run from danger and fight to protect itself if need be. Hope that doesn't sound too cryptic. :)

I totally understand what you mean about "revealing too much." I feel that way about a lot of stuff, like by somehow talking about it outloud, it somehow loses some of it's power, or at least shifts it? Dunno how to explain it.

J was the only person I used to really talk details about my rituals and magic related stuff.

Thank you for trusting me enough to give me some insights. I think I already have an idea of one of your guides from older entries too. Shhhhh....

It's all so very fascinating and it's nice to have someone to talk (even cryptically) about such things :)
