It's two o'clock in the morning. I was lying in bed mostly asleep and the garbage truck was parked outside with the loud engine going. I was dreaming away about the ghost of Christmas past in the movie we saw the other day... and a lot later I noticed that damn engine outside was still going. Good old boys. The water is back and already they're covering the ground back up with fresh asphalt. Those who managed to sleep through the noise will never even know anything happened.

haha...that's almost creepy, that they could come and do some major excavation in the middle of the night with nobody being any wiser for it.

Hmmm, I like how your mind works. Maybe the water thing was just a decoy to cover up the REAL (extremely shady) purpose?

Or, alternatively, it feels good to live in a society where things work so well. :)
