[The feed opens to a rather awkward angle. It seems the Dreamberry had fallen out of Beat's pocket and had turned on the video. It's obvious that he looks tired and drained, definitely because of the lack of sleep for over a day now. The nightmares had begun to become so unbearable that he had figured it would be better if he just stayed up

[Shiki squints at the screen, trying to make out what was going on.]

[He lets out an incoherent mutter at first before looking at the Dreamberry. He had no idea that it had turned on until just then.]

[Slowly, he picks it up and props it on one knee. He doesn't exactly look his best but he still makes an effort to answer her.]

Do you need anything? I can come over and help you watch her if you want.

[He scowled upon seeing Kariya but he's just too drained to put up much of a fight right now.]

[Beat turns to look at the screen again after hearing his name. He's still pretty groggy from the lack of sleep, so it might be noticeable from the tone of his voice.]

[yeah, it is-- and she stares back oddly once he responds, too, although Maka was able to catch his nickname for her in there, as well. she clears her throat and responds a bit more carefully and clearer:]

You shouldn't force yourself to stay awake. It isn't good for you.

[She said what? He squints at the screen for a moment trying to decipher what she had said. But doing so was too much effort running on what little energy he had.]
