I agree it's great! I've learnt already that talking positively about yourself makes you feel good afterwards ;) (that is to say - fake it until you make it :D
( ... )
Well, apart from the fact that English is not my native language and I still struggle with tenses and such, I guess that I have problems with keeping a character in character (which basically means that they think the way I would and not the way they themselves would). This is why I think I'm not too good at dialogues - it's always problematic for me to write a dialogue which would be in character. Another thing is that I can't seem to make the world around my characters 'alive' - which basically means that the only plotline that proceeds is the one with the main characters (not that I don't introduce other characters - I rather portray them a bit like NPCs in an RPG game who just wait for the main characters to talk with them). Of course I probably have a lot more weaknesses. If you ever notice that something is off with my writing, don't hesistate to tell me ;)
Basically, I think everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but my thoughts depend on what way of expression the person uses. I love concrit because it makes me a better writer, though at first I might be a bit hostile or upset with the fact that someone's criticising me (it's just my 16-year-old inner self throwing a tantrum and I'll be back to normal in an hour). However, if someone is criticising me (or anyone for that matter) in a way that seems aimed at humiliating the person, I can be really mean and unpleasant, because it's no longer critique, it's already flaming and just being a dick.

It's great that so many people are doing this, I think.
