I did not know that translation was that tough a job. I suppose if it's oral and you're on the spot that makes sense. Wow.

Hm... basically, translation is just putting what was said in other words (in words of another language, yeah, but the mechanism is the same), so it could seem it's a relatively easy thing to do. And yet translators die of heart attacks. ;) So yeah, it's probably caused by the stress and pressure of time.

I'd always assumed it was average in terms of stress, but thinking about it, it must require quite a lot of mental effort.
