Anyone have experience travelling with cats? The move to TX is looking pretty certain now, and coming at the end of August. Me and catface have to make it down to Austin from Boston somehow, and I was thinking of passing through Indiana for a few days on the way there, since I haven't been home in, uh, years

I know that you can generally fly with cats as long as the carrier fits under the seat in front of you. When my cat got flown down from Oregon, I believe she had been given a mild, mild tranq pill and she was a bit loopy but fine.

If you're driving though, like Viv says - no drugs. They'll usually chill out quick enough.
