Waking up this morning and reading the newspaper, I was delighted to see an article that relayed incredible information to me. That info of course being a special sneak preview showing of the new Transformers movie. I grew up during the Transformers G1 heyday - I was somewhere around 11 years old, making me part of the prime (pun intended) demographic. It was one of my favorite series and I think back on it with fondness.
I occasionally poked my head in on the numerous spin-off series (even going so far as to get an awful Australian dub of the not-very-good Japanese Headmasters series), but none of them quite had the same magic. Then again, what does compared to the eyes of a tween?
I'm pleased that Peter Cullen is back as Optimus Prime. That will make the experience worthwhile.
