The rock concert tour industry seems to about to expire, along with its aging stars. Is this a bad thing? Isn't it a little sad that The Boss now has to wear kneepads when he slides across the stage?

No. The uber-concert is garish and obscene, and I can't wait until it and the major label contract both die in a fiery heap of irrelevance.

I wonder who's to blame for those skyrocketting ticket prices?

Anyway, whether or not it's a good thing, the über rock show is going the way of the Cadillac car. It's bloated, gaudy and prohibitively expensive. The spectacle doesn't hold it's weight in the entertainment world anymore.
