You know those electric scooters everyone drives around in China? Well, a company in Bellevue called Evader Motorsports just started importing them to the US. I want one so bad. Too bad they're like $2500. I guess I should probably just save my money and buy a bicycle instead.

My boss imports those scooters from China too, and he just got a distributor in Bellingham. They only go like 25 miles an hour, but I think he's selling them for like $600.

Really? That's pretty cool. I was thinking about buying one when I was in China, but the cost of shipping it back here probably would have been ridiculous.

Nuts to electrics; You could get a pretty snazzy gas scooter for $600 - $800.

Yeah--see, I was thinking for $2,500 I could just get a motorcycle and be less of a dork. But $800 for a scooter that gets how many miles to a gallon? like 70? That's not bad.
