I started watching it this season, then watched seasons 1 & 2 over the break. And it has gone downhill, which is sad now that I'm finally watching it.

Yeah, I'm also pissed that they hired Bai Ling. She's such a skank! She's not even Thai either, she's Chinese.

Seasons one and two were awesome, but the past few episodes of season three have been kind of weak. The death rate is also getting stupidly high, you can tell someone's only dying because they wanted to quit or got fired from the show.

I THOUGHT that was her. The boobs were waay too scary.

That episode sucked.

Yeah, and the fact that they changed sizes dramatically throughout the show made them even more scary.

She brags that she got kicked out of China for participating in the Tiananmen Square protests, but I bet it was actually for her terrible acting.

Haven't seen the episode yet, but as soon as I heard that Bai Ling was going to be on, I groaned. I actually liked last week's episode, but the show's just so inconsistent when it comes to bringing teh n0t sux0ring that I...well, no, actually; I'll still watch it. I'll just bitch a lot.

Have you seen Jericho? I downloaded a freebie "get caught up" episode off of iTunes the other day, and it looked like it could be fun.

Yeah, exactly. Unless they give me like five shitty episodes in a row, I'll probably still watch it, because the first two seasons were just that good. I kind of liked the Desmond episode, but the whole thing about "the universe has a way of course correcting" smacked of shitty movie premise á la Final Destination.

I had never heard of Jericho, but it sounds like kind of a cool premise. I think I'll check it out.

I started watching Lost from season 3. It's actually not bad, but sometimes distracting due to the lack of good plot.
That Bai tramp! I heard she's from Chengdu...ahhh...What's wrong with the producers?

I'm wondering that as part of Lost's deep meanings (for lack of thinking of a better word), that they did that with the tattoo thing on purpose? For some reason it seems like they wouldn't make a mistake like that because they know how much people read into all the hidden clues. Unless their interpreter is just off.

Well, I read somewhere that those are Matthew Fox's real tattoos, and the writers just decided to work them into the story rather than covering them up with makeup. That's the entire reason why they introduced the side story of his trip to Phuket Island. I guess they probably tried to use a very loose, metaphorical translation of what the tattoos actually say (or at least what Matthew Fox thinks they say), so that it would fit the plot of the episode, but it just wasn't convincing to me.

They might also be counting on the fact that they've made it really hard to get a clear view of his tattoo; I had to watch several episodes before I could actually make out all four characters.

Ohhh, it was real? I couldnt remember if I heard that or not. I see. It was an odd storyline. I could barely even see any characters at all.

Man -- that episode was painful. PAINFUL. Where do I start -- Bai Ling's appearing/disappearing boobs, Kate being annoying, Jack being obtuse...also, I can't remember who it was who said that Bai Ling was a Chinese Lil Kim, but they were dead on. Also, what's with the whole inability to distinguish between Thai and Chinese? Also also, in keeping with the revolutionary Mao Zedong quotes, I noticed that one of the scrolls in Bai Ling's place of business said 不破不立.

Yeah, it was a train wreck. My best guess is that they not only hired Bai Ling to perform in that episode, but to write it as well.
