The other day, I ran into this girl I used to work with--let's call her Carly. Wearing a bright pink polo with a palm tree in the middle-left side of her chest, collar popped, she announced that she had just come back from playing and winning a squash match in the city. I had never seen such a loud shirt and I commented on its brightness.

Nordy bars and The Decemberists are my new obsessions.

Only two days in recent memory were vaguely interesting.

Wednesday: Katie W. took the train to Philadelphia and we went out with Adam.

Sunday: I took the Northeast Extension to visit family. The Lehigh Tunnel is neat.

. . .I need to go watch Little House.

Service project with Chrissy and Arnyae yesterday was actually really fun. We planted some jo pie weed and kinked the hose up.

Seeing Kate is always a highlight of my week. . .

I spent too much money though. . .
