The museum is on fire.

Do you save:
The old woman who's lived a long, well-off life?
or
The 14th century masterpiece which has been admired and will be admired for years?

agreed. but i was thinking about it today and thought that human instinct might make us grab the woman.

maybe i should do an experiment...jk

yeah, i mean, theoretically i would try and salvage the painting. but you're right, in that situation basic instinct would probably lead me to save the woman

hehe i mean, we know that the woman will die eventually right, and the painting could be preserved for...ever. BUT, i'm sure that the woman has MANY people that care for her and love her (family, grand-children, friends) and even though the painting could never be seen in "authentic version" ever again, at least it'll be in photos and books.

:D

i miss you

the painting.
this is going to sound cruel in a way, but the woman is going to die eventually anyways,a nd after an indefinite amount of time, there will be very few that remember her. whereas, the 14th century masterpiece has ALREADY been revered and remembered for 6 centuries, making it okay to call the painting infinitely valuable as an offset of time. lol...not sure if that made any sense...xD it does in my brain. =P
dudeee, haven't talked to you in SOSOSOSO long!

the painting has more effect and will have more effect on people than the woman ever will.
