it'll work out :) trust me, i have been in a long-distance relationship, basically for all my dating life. i dated dru for 3 years while he lived in herrin and i lived in tuscola, and then i dated ryan for 1/2 semester while he was in carbondale and i was in charleston... think about amanda and steve too, him originally living in chicago and her in florida... and slimb and val with him in st. louis and her in florida, but she's in carbondale and it's still distanced... long distance, yeah it sucks but you gotta think it's also awesome you found someone. i didn't think i could do the long distance thing (i started dating dru before i could drive so i hardly saw him) but if you like them enough you'll make it work, even if it is five states away. you hate it that you can't see them, but it's all worthwhile and makes it SOO much better when you do see them and actually get to spend time with them. look to laura for support too! she went through the same thing that you are right now, and i mean even though mine was only a couple hours

Don't give up Brandon. You aren't going to be in Carbondale for the rest of your life. A long distance relationship can be the best kind. All you guys can do right now is TALK, and that allows you to get to know that person a million times better, in less time. Just think about couples that are together, and go and see movies, and just hang out, never really talking, never getting to truly KNOW one another. Spending all this time talking will put your intimacy on a whole new level, and when you do get together it will make the relationship so much better. You are finally happy Brandon. You know just as well as I do how hard it is to find a good man these days. So when you finally do, hold on tight, and do everything you can to keep it going.
