Anamorphic Wii

If what I have read about the Wii to be true, it's signal is anamorphic. Which is wonderful news. Question though? Why wouldn't they advertise that?

Mostly because they're not going after the HD market in the way that Sony and Microsoft are

Yeah, but anamorphic has nothing to do with HD, so far as I know/understand.

720x480p is not HD, at most it's ED and I know you need Component, that still does not have to do with HD though component can carry a HD signal.

its probably because video games are generally aimed at kids or young adults that probably have no fucking idea what anamorphic is. just my guess

True enough, but from what I understand, Nintendo isn't trying to target just little children. They want to target anybody and everybody. And if that is true then that kind of information might be important to some of us.
