I'm pretty sure he was just making fun of DC for being so SERIOUS BUSINESS GRIMDARK but none of the Batman movies have done justice to the comics. ]: Also TDK is like "ehhh this is an okay movie but not amazing" after you watch it a few times and step back to actually analyze it.
