Well, theoretically they're fraternal. But they look an awful lot alike - I'm beginning to think that they may have identical maternal genes for several reasons (yay, I'm one of those freaks whose egg split and THEN was fertilized times two, heh). They look more and more alike to me as days pass - initially Teresa was scrawny and more jaundiced, so it was simple to tell them apart. Now Teresa looks exactly like Liana did at that weight. Time will tell, but I'm going to assume the general two placentas = fraternal for now :)

And because I love these pictures (even though they're only about a week old in these)...

I know you from the parentsoftwins community. I'm a mom of 6-year-old identical girls, from Ottawa, Canada. I fell in love with your family when you posted your Christmas pics, and although my non-real-life lj-friends are few, I thought I'd like to get to know your family better. I'm not sure if you are comfortable with the strangers-as-friends thing - no hurt feelings if you're not.

Feel free to check out my profile to see if you think we'd have anything in common. My lj is friends-locked, like yours. I do whine a bit and post *way* too much about my chores. My resolution for the new year is to post more about the delights in my life, and not let the chores overwhelm me.
