Where are you fighting with swords now and which type of kung fu (and where) are you studying? I still want to do both of those things but haven't had money or time. Still don't have money, but I have a BIT more time.
The swords might work well for you. Friday night, 6p in the Viewmont commons. We have loaner gear so you don't have to go to that expense until you can (or talk relatives into giving you stuff for holidays). It is medieval/renaissance rapier fighting, and it's a good time.
The kung fu is Shaolin Kempo (some of the students there have actually studied with the Shaolin monks and received belts from the Abbot himself). It is over by Cold Stone and Panda Express, United Studios of Self Defense. A student drug me over, and a wardie two doors down just started, too. I haven't posted about it yet, but it's really fun.
WOW I share numbers 1, 2, and 5. Are you sure we are not related?
My big pet peeve with motels/hotels is that 99% of the maids tuck both bottom and top sheet under the mattress, so when you pull down the top sheet, you have to go all around the bed tucking in the bottom sheet. I HATE THAT!
you do know that I had to go remake my bed after #1! Nylons...I run them. I am really good at that...can't stand socks most of the time...in fact not even in winter. That is probably why my feet are ugleeee
Just because we're both nerdy word people, I looked up "meme" for you in the dictionary. It said "an idea, behavior, style, or usage that spreads from person to person within a culture" and it looks like it's of French origin, which means Latin. Woot for Latin!
