I got a spam email which told me to invest in some company (symbol: WEXE) because its stock would explode on Monday. I have never, ever taken a spam email seriously, but being Wednesday, I got curious and checked its quotes. Lo and behold, on Monday it had actually surpassed the email's projected price. what about the possibility that the fact that this email was sent to probably millions of people helped its stock rise on monday...sure most people probably discarded it, but for the small percent that did, it could have definitely had an impact on the stock's rise...
