Oh man Ariel, good think I took a look at ye ol eljay today.

I love Final Fantasy III if you want to play a looooooong game (Great to do on plane flights/long trips/t rides) but for short games I recommend Donkey Kong Vs Mario (the attack of the minis) SOOOOOO Addictive. Russ also loved all of those BrainAge games (you would like those since they're like puzzles and stuff) and you HAVE to get the new Super Mario Brothers. Those should keep you occupied for awhile.

I want to play the courtroom/mystery investigation games, and the trauma one too. I definitely want that new mario platform game and super princess peach.

Oh man, I wanted to play Super P Peach really bad too, and it SUCKED. It was like, for a 2nd grader! Not a recommendation from my point of view!
