Snowed in. Mother Nature is definitely being bossy about it being winter now. But, it seems like everyone's got shelter so we'll do all right. It can't snow forever.

[ Things aren't very enjoyable down in the mines, of course, but at this irreparably cheesy message, Lightning manages to summon up a bit of amusement, at least-- if just for seeing Hope teased and her silly dog being as 'Baldr' as ever.

And obviously, she's not going to fault an attempt to make Zack feel better- she really hopes her absolutely terrible birthday luck isn't rubbing off on him too, but considering they're in the middle of a fight that wasn't their choice and all, that's-- not looking positive. ]

I haven't heard any calls for help on the journal yet, so I think we're okay so far. The grocery store isn't that far for most people, too... I'm not an expert on winter weather but it doesn't seem too tough for us to deal with.
