Have we really engaged in genetic modification of wheat for fifty years?

no clue if we have, but not surprised. Everything is GMO these days.

I do know that friends who have cut wheat -- that means just about everything that isn't strictly meat, veg, or fruit -- from their diet did lose "belly bloat," etc. I'm trying it this month. I'm addicted to bread. Whole wheat, bagels, etc. I'm jonesing here!
