Honey, I'm keeping you in my thoughts. Regarding the hard decisions you faced and are facing, that's my experience of death and dying, too. There are often no good choices, so I generally just find myself forced into surrender, and valuing the sacredness of the process, and the moment.

She very likely won't mind being left alone, I don't think. Most of them have gone way far across that bridge by the time death comes. They've left this life behind, whether anyone is in the room with them or not. But even if she was partway across the bridge, I bet she was grateful for the extra blanket.

Let me know if I can help with babysitting, or anything else during this time, and I'll be very much keeping you, your granny and your family in my thoughts

She's still hanging in there and doing marginally better.
