Ta da! Finally, I've posted my userpic. When I actually made the time to sit down just now to upload the photo, which I assumed would be complex and time consuming, I found it was as easy as pie. I love when technology is easy.

The photo of the flowers is beautiful! Thanks bunches, Juliana - no pun intended.

Pretty flowers Mom, you'll have to teach me how to upload a user pic. It looks complicated, I've never tried. Ahh, technologically lazy, I'm a disgrace to my generation. hehe. Love you!

Now that I am a wizard at userpics (smiling here) I will graciously deign to show you how to set one up. It is ridiculously easy. Now the next thing I need to learn is what kind of photos are eligible to be userpics. I am going to get a digital camera and want to play around a bit.
