Rushed home from work in order to be here in time for the littlest wigglers who come to the door in teeny Halloween costumes. They come just as it starts to get dark, and the later it gets the older the kids. I love Halloween in our neighborhood. I'm glad to hear you had a Happy Halloween. Where there any cool outfits? They don't celebrate in Samoa, though they do in American Samoa (and the local McDonald's in Apia is giving out candy today). It's interesting to see what parts of American culture McDonald's brings to the world. hehe. I dressed up as a Ninja for the PeaceCorps Halloween party. I couldn't find a fake sword so I just used a bush knife which looks like a sword. (Don't worry it was sheathed.) I had fun.

wait you went to a Peace Corps party for Halloween and I didn't?! The was a party in Konni but I was in Niamey dropping Joyce off. I ate candy today though, that's got to count for something Halloweenish right.

Peace Corps Samoa....Whatever. that sounds so posh

Sorry to say there were no costumes as cool as the Coca Cola cand and the crayola crayon box I remember we made for you and Juliet. We had pretty much the typical lot of ghosts, princesses, hobos (older kids) and mutilated beings. I noticed more fathers walking their kids aroudn than in the past which was cool. They really seemed to be enjoying themselves. Father miss so much unless they get involved with their kids.
