Well, I've never gotten a potted poinsettia to rebloom (too lazy to do the light regimen), but we had them out in the yard, growing in the ground, where I grew up in Los Angeles. They were subject to light from the back porch and my room, the street light, passing car lights, and I'm sure other things I'm missing.

They bloomed, without fail, every year.

Hubby has suggested that perhaps the special light regimen is required to get them in "bloom" by Thanksgiving???

I bet your yard poinsettia's were gorgeous!

They were tall skinny things, but pretty. They were in the shade. In the sun down there, they are bushy.

Have you gotten any snow yet?
We've got a few spits of sleet--back in early November.
This week I've been going around in my shirt sleeves it's so warm this week.
