Something else you can do if you have a hard time getting through an entire RS tape is keep a chair nearby and when you need to, periodically sit down for a few minutes and only continue to do the upper body (arms) portion of the workout. When you feel ready, get back up and keep going. :)
I have his sitting down workout too. That should be good for rightn after surgery. I do that myself on days where I either don't have the time for anything else or when I am feeling really lazy. :)
No, I wasn't walking before surgery. I was a "I'll start doing all that health jazz after surgery, thank you" kinda gal. I started swimming at 6 weeks out, and began walking around 8 weeks out. At first I was walking 3/4 of a mile. In May, I upped it to a mile most of the time. Still at a mile most days, though occasionally I do more. Last night's walk was 1.5 miles, and Friday I did 1.2. :) Not sure how far I am gonna go tonight. Also got in a 45 minute swim at the Y today.

I also have the RS sittin' down work out. I might do that one after surgery for a while, and the walking until I can really move around alot again.
Were you walking before surgery? How long did it take you to get up to a mile. That's where you're at now, right?
