Morning Walk

Jul 03, 2005 17:58

I was up early and left the house at 8 am, quietly.  I crossed the street and walked around the block, making it a little more than 1/2 mile.  It took me 13 minutes.  That's pretty slow for most, but it seemed zippy to me and it was sooo hot out.  Guh!  Everyone was watering their lawns, so it was also very humid and not even a trace of a breeze, unlike two days ago when it was really windy and a cool 80.  So, now I'm going to eat breakfast... something I almost never do, and wait an hour.  Then I'll do Richard Simmons.  I have to get over to D'Wanna's to get that treadmill today.

We watched Be Cool again last night and I liked it much more than the first time.

I'm excited to meet the cardiologist.  I think she's a woman.  If she is, she's the only woman at the place (Baylor Heart and Vascular Center and Baylor University Medical Center).  The name is Azam Anwar and she's Persian.    Ooops, no, HE is not a woman.  He is a man.  And he seems to be a pretty amazing cardiologist.  Look at this.  Yay!  He's the top guy!  This is so fabulous!  And, I guess Baylor always gives you who you choose.  We'll have to see about it.  I don't even know if he'd see me, I mean see patients who have my kind of needs.  He does angioplasties...  and I definitely don't need that.  We'll have to see.  :o)  Either way, I love United Healthcare!
