What is your favorite road sign?
     A.  SLOW CHILDREN AT PLAY

Are you feeling pain right now?
     A.  Slight pain in my lower back on the left.

Do you own a picture phone?
     A.  No.

What were your favorite songs when you were little (i.e., under 10)?
     A.  Bye Bye Miss American Pie, The Coca Cola Song,  Crocodile Rock

What's your favorite board game?
     A.  Trivial Pursuit or Chess

What's your favorite card game?
     A.  Pinochle, but Margaux has a game we haven't played yet called Quiddler and it's a word game.  I'm betting that will be my new favorite card game.  Of course that's not a regular deck of cards.

Atari 2600 or ColecoVision?
     A.  Atari

What animal does your favorite cheese come from?
     A.  guh

What products do you use when you take a shower?
     A.  Herbal Essences Shampoo, Dial Soap, and occasionally a lady Bic razor

What are you looking forward to?
     A.  Getting my approval letter.  Even writing it here gives me butterflies.

What was one thing you wanted desperately as a child but your parents wouldn't give you?
     A.  Baby Alive:  Baby Alive soft and sweet, she can cry, she can eat.  It ate food that looked like baby food and then it also poopied.  My mom didn't like the poopied part.

At what age did you stop believing in Santa Claus?
     A.  I don't know.  I think I asked my mother to tell me the truth when I was in fifth grade, but I probably knew much younger.  Then I cried.

If you could have just one person from a celebrity entourage (nutritionist, personal trainer, makeup artist, etc), what one would you want?
     A.  I used to say Maid, but now I'll say Butler, because a butler can do everything a maid can do, and then they drive you around and they cook dinner.  Yeah, a butler for sure.

What magazines do you subscribe to or buy regularly?
     A. Newsweek, Time, Discover, Popular Science, PCWorld or PC Magazine (not sure now), Self, Weight Watchers, Nickelodeon, Disney Adventures, Neopets, and some little cooking magazine  (Holy cow!)

E-mail or snail mail?
     A. Before I went to college at the ripe old age of 24, I was a fabulous correspondent.  I wrote letters every single day.  It's a beautiful form of communication, and everyone loves getting mail.  These days, it's gotta be email.  It's just faster to type it all out and send it off than to write it out long-hand and send it off in the mail.  I do write to my step mother once a year, though.

If you had the choice, which would you rather explore: the far reaches of outer space or the deepest depths of the ocean?
     A. I'm not sure.  I'd have to discuss it with Margaux first because she'd be coming with me.  If there was no risk of death from either experience, I think she'd choose the ocean--more possibility of interacting with other creatures, and it's a whole lot closer to home than deep space.

Do you find any cartoon characters attractive?
     A.  I remember watching Heavy Metal with my mom when I was in high school and saying to her, for a cartoon, he's really good-looking.  She agreed.  Other than that, I don't think so.  I don't watch a whole lotta cartoons other than the Simpson, Inu Yasha, and King of the Hill.  Oh.... wasn't Brad Pitt as an animated character in Cool World kind of cute?

King Kong or Godzilla?
     A.  King Kong.  I used to dream about King Kong when I was little little little, before my mother gave me to my dad.  I remember really vivid dreams almost like I was awake and King Kong was outside my grandma's bedroom where we were sleeping.  I told her that he wouldn't hurt us.  She must have told me that story a hundred times.

Are you like your parents?
     A.   I am a human and I produced a child; that's about the only similarity I see.  Oh, and I'm sure we all like sandwiches and having money to spend.  My mother might not like sandwiches.  Not sure.

Do you write your number seven with or without the line through the middle?
     A.  With the line.

What is/was your school mascot and colors?
     A.  Penn State's mascot is the Nittany Lion and the colors are blue and white.

What do you put on your toast?
     A.  I rarely to never eat toast, but I suppose I would put some whipped cream cheese on it.

What should you be doing right now instead of filling out this survey?
     A.  Unplugging my electronics.  I hear thunder and my desk-top weather alert is going off.  No time to edit or spell check.

Now copy and paste these things into your journal and fill in your answers where mine are.
