Now, what to do?

Jun 17, 2008 10:13

I received my journal so I suppose I'll test it out.
Hello, fine day on the boat though I've been on it for less than an hour, assuming of course.

Does anyone else have an issue with the name 'Flamingo'?
Or smelling nice?

Well, I was told everyone else could read this... Isn't that fun? Does that mean I can read theirs? Probably.

I need a shower, so ( Read more... )

You'll find this place rather evenly populated with people who look after their personal hygeine and people who would rather spend any and all free time hacking things to pieces with swords, I'm afraid.

That's fun.

This is going to be an interesting experience, I can tell.
I'm not to sure I'm happy with that though.

C'est la vie, I suppose. Or perhaps that should just be c'est my vie.

It's quite a surprise for some when they find out it actually does work, don't you think?

I suppose your shouldn't be of much issue--I don't know what a 'flamingo' is, after all. My name for now is Sight.

Good luck wandering around. Maybe you'll find something useful. Just watch out for the animals; I hear some have approached people and nibbled their clothing.

That's... strange. Are there animals on this boat?

How do I talk to all of these people in this journal, thing, and not be able to talk to them face to face?
I would rather enjoy that, I don't like writing.

Well then, hello Sight. Pleasure to meet you.

For some reason I didn't find it surprising the journal has these abilities...

Yeah, but I'm not entirely sure why. Farm animals, mostly...

Saa, I suppose the best answer to that would be to ask where people are and see if you could meet them, right? On the other hand, guess it can't hurt if someone tries to invent another way to communicate with each other.

Not surprising? Hn, interesting. It's not quite normal to me, though--I just get a sense that normal paper doesn't do these sorts of things. Then again, there are many things in this world that just 'happen', too.

Like hatching from cocoons?
Well then, where are you located? If we met up I'd be easy to spot, pink hair and all.

Farm animals, that makes more sense. Probably for resources like food.

Have you been in this... eh, globe long?

It was the reaction of that brat.
He had a straight face but I could tell it was strained.
I hope not to meet up again with him anytime soon...

Yes, it just annoyed me more than anything.
Oh.. Drake.
Probably not surprising looking at his attitude.
Then again, I don't really know him. Could have been a bad day for him.

Yes, everyone can read it.

Are you saying your name is Flamingo?

gardenoverlord June 18 2008, 10:59:11 UTC
Yes, I am.

May I know what you are called?

Lavender. The name comes from the color of my hair rather than my dream. My hair is so long it only seems suiting.

Is it?
That would make sense, simple and easy.
Plus it works, it's also a very lovely name. I like it.

Ahaha...
Yes....
Though I didn't see any of those things in my dream when I thought of it....

Oh no?

Then how come...?

Reply

gardenoverlord June 18 2008, 15:02:49 UTC
Not sure how..
I had recalled a weapon of some sort that made me think of the bird's title..
I do believe it was a scythe....
