For those unaware, the 2003 oscar nominees were released today.

things i'm disappointed in:

no nods for kill bill vol. 1

too few nods for american splendor

no nods for scarlett johansson, at all

no nods for me as the awesomest guy in town

mystic river does not deserve best picture and yet somehow got nominated

i totally forgot to add that to the list. have you seen it? being the bruce campbell nut that you are, i'm going to guess 'yes'.

Yep, I actually saw it last month, when it opened in the 'Little Theatre' in Rochester.

Bruce did an awesome job portraying an elderly Elvis (in fact the big newspaper in Rochester had a write up saying he deserved Oscar consideration for it). He and Ossie Davis were an awesome team on screen and the way everything was explained and came together was great.

Props to whomever thought up the idea, the movie was a lot of fun. :D
