so i spent most of my 3-day weekend (thank you richard nixon for presidents day) watching movies. i mean, what else would i have done with an extended weekend. go visit people? whatever.

the movie, "ray" was a good film. i enjoyed it.

haven't seen "hotel rwanda" yet. i want to though. looks intense.

oh yeah, i also watched "collateral" this past weekend. i liked jamie foxx's character. but at one point, i thought i was gonna get car sick because the camera kept moving all around. so i had to pause it and take a break. i think i fell asleep or something. tom cruise doesn't look good with gray hair for some reason...anyway, it wasn't a great as people claimed it to be but anyways...

enough with the babbling.

jamie foxx did a fantastic job in collateral and i liked a lot of the dialogue and the characters were really interesting. what killed the movie for me was when tom cruise got shot in the side of the head near the end and got right back up and started running. i just couldn't suspend my sense of disbelief for that.

you should see sideways. it's good and it takes place near santa barbara.

hmmm...we've got some serious movie watching to do. I'd really like to see Million Dollar Baby and Hotel Rwanda, preferably before Sunday, but whatever. Man, I didn't realize the Oscars were coming up so quickly. Are you planning on watching them at all? I rarely watch any other award shows but I usually enjoy the Oscars.

i have them both and we can watch them this weekend if you like. i would also like to watch the oscars too. don't forget the art museum is sunday. such a busy weekend.

I would like that. And no, I haven't forgotten. I think the museum closes at 5:00pm on Sundays, though, so we can see the exhibit, get some dinner, and come back to see the Oscars, or something like that

it had it's moments, but i was really disappointed. not even close to the comedic genius that was south park: the movie.
