I know John Francis - does that make me cool? Ur - by "knowing" I mean saw a show of his and said hello. He goes to the East congregation of Circle, I think, and he does shows there with other groups sometimes. My cousins Paul and Stacey know him better (went to school with him) and said he's altered his name like 4 times, trying to decide which works the best (various combinations of his first, middle, and last name) - so as not to be confused with better known musicians who share his name.

Anyway, I like his music too, although I have yet to buy his new album. Glad you like it! :)

always the showoff, rachel. i believe he does attend circle east and he was recommended to me after a friend saw him open for denison witmer (who also goes to east) at the katrina benefit concert back in november.
