I last updated my journal with any real thoughts. Well, some time has passed, and I've gathered a few new thoughts. Not to mention having taken a trip down to Malibu for Anna's sister's graduation from Pepperdine University. Talk about a gorgeous campus, and view, no less. "the only game that is beatable is blackjack." Wow. you are SO wrong. POKER POKER POKER. Poker is a skill game and you play against other people with the same motiations as you instead of the house dealer. No Limit Texas Hold 'Em. The only pure game in a casino, the Cadillac of poker. Yeah baby, yeah. Anything else is just gambling.

Oh, I know what you're saying, but what I mean is that BlackJack can be predicted using card counting. Basically, if you're fast enough with numbers, you can predict when your odds of winning are high, bet big, and win big. We're talking about two totally different games, where in one, you can win using odds and probability, and in another, it's a matter of skill in using what you're dealt.

...that I've just picked up (and am on the road to beating) is Broken Sword. It's like an updated version of those point-and-click adventure games. Which I LOVED as a youth! I gotta play some LAN Halo SOON, though. I need to pop some virtual caps in virtual heads.
