I watched a crossing guard at work yesterday when I was driving through Lawrenceville. At first, I was frustrated with traffic being held up, but when the motorist behind me honked when I waited for someone to cross, I realized that pedestrians were just not going to get anywhere without lawful intervention. I'm glad your guard was a bad ass.
