I wish Livejournal was the happenin' place it used to be. Guess I'm part of the problem, just reading every once in a while and not really posting more than once or twice a month. It's better than facebook in a lot of ways. Maybe LJ would become more popular if they put in a "like" button

I miss old LJ too. I don't know if people have the attention span for reading anymore, I type half in jest, half serious.

There's nothing like the instant gratification of a "like". That's what I'm basing my assumption on anyway.

I'm supposedly writing one about "Grandma Food.", as that is my favorite cuisine. It's half recipe/procedure book, half photography journey. I'm taking recipes from anywhere I can get them, so if you've got anything you'd like to share, I'd be happy to include it.

Hmmm, I can take a look and see if there's anything you might like. I certainly have a lot of recipes! Excuse me for sounding dumb, but is "Grandma Food" pretty much what it sounds like - older, comfort-foodish recipes using real ingredients?
