RECALL: About freakin' time!

This product seems to finally have been recalled: http://www.thechaistory.blogspot.com/ The company seriously dragged its feet.

If you have a dog and dog toys, please make sure you do not have the product in question. It can seriously injure, maim or even kill your dog.

How heartbreaking! At least Chai's dad was able to mobilize enough letter writers to make the company respond--but why didn't they respond right away?? Pretty scary...

Yeah, that is the question!

Did you see the email from the people who lost their dog due to the same product... in 2005? They wrote letters and all that and were assured by the company that the product would be recalled. They knew the damn thing had a problem for 3 years and did nothing but continue to profit from its sale!! That makes me absolutely livid.

Its so sickening to think a toy to make your dog happy could seriously injure or even kill them.
