I got my copy of The Ammonite Violin last night. It is gorgeous, just a lovely, lovely book, and the chapbook is very nicely done too. I immediately read The Sanderlings and the introduction, which seemed a fitting one without any obvious spoilers. Past that I only got as far as reading the first story; Madonna Littoralis, which was
