Episode 8 ‡ Outbreak
Wednesday evening on the SS Thor. The mall is busy as it typically is on a daily basis with both residents and actual Thorians mingling. Children, both alien and other species, are laughing and running through the crowds of busy business people with parents in pursuit. Joe's Liqour seems busy and everyone is in a hurry or smiling. A bell is ringing as a squid alien tries to attract customers to his fish shop and a squirrel is tap dancing to pull eyes over to the Linquini Grill. An female scorpian alien is outside Jiggles, passing out fliers for the Jello shop. Yes, it seems like a typical day...
However, there's one alien who seems to be acting peculiar. Its lion-like pawed hands drop a bag its carrying and the contents roll out on the floor. A large fish he must have purchased is now flopping around on the ground, asking someone to put him back in the water while the alien seems frozen. Suddenly, blood is running out of the corner of his eyes, his nose, and his mouth. He makes a strangled sound, trying to get air, but he's just turning pale. His legs give out and he hits the ground, blood pooling underneath him.
"Holy shit."
"Hey, did anyone see what happened!?"
"Call the hospital!"
A bruise can be made out on the unconscious alien's neck.
