6 Dolls [Accidental Video]

[The guide turns on as it's knocked aside by some violent action, and the camera begins recording a dimly lit room. Two people can be seen nearby; a girl with dark, wild eyes, standing with clenched fists and staring coldly down at the slumped, apparently injured figure of a teenage boy, partly obscured by a large cape and an overturned chair. The girl is speaking, quiet and calm, but with a deadly edge.]

...you forgot yourself before. I will forgive you...because that was my fault. You forgot because I was weak. But it won't happen again.

Remember this; nothing has changed. Nothing. Do I make myself clear?

[There's a faint groan from the floor and an even fainter hiss that might have been another groan, or breath, or laughter.]

Yes... Master. My memory is... [Some coughing as he stumbles over the words, and then he's silent again, before he can finish whatever sarcastic quip he was surely about to make. Apparently his body has better self-preservation than he does.

The girl glares at his hubris anyway. With slow deliberate movements, she crouches near the body, idly reaching out and twisting his hair in her hand. There's no response from the boy.]

Absolutely pitiful. Is this their idea of a fair trade?

[She makes a disgusted sound under her breath and lets go, leaving him to lie there. She remains where she is a while longer, watching him silently.

Suddenly, she looks directly at the guide. Did she know it was on this whole time? Her face gives no indication either way, but for a few seconds she just stares evenly at the screen. The look on her face is dangerous, and something dark and powerful moves behind her eyes. Even through video, the effect is eerie.

Then...she smiles. It's partly amused and partly apologetic, like the fond expression of a parent after watching their child do something foolish. But right now, on her face, it looks utterly wrong. There isn't a single trace of kindness or warmth in that sweet smile.]

My...it seems my little bird has hurt himself quite badly. If only he had been more careful.

I wonder if I could find someone to clean up this mess...
