[It's Stein's class again, and surprise! No dissections of any kind are taking place. In fact, Stein is lecturing on the soul, what it is and how it can be used as a weapon or to share communication and power with other people. Soul theory is his specialty, after all.
But perhaps more importantly (at least for those who think lecture is boring), after about thirty minutes of that Stein closes his textbook and pushes the teacher's desk to the side so that there's a decently sized space at the front of the classroom. That accomplished, he puts his hands in his labcoat pockets and addresses the class again.]
Okay. I know not all of you are from a world where you can see this kind of thing, so I've asked a student from mine to help me give you a demonstration of what I'm talking about. Why don't you come to the front of the class, Black☆Star.
[As Black☆Star complies, no doubt enthusiastically, Stein continues.]
The rest of you stay in your seats. You're likely to be grievously injured otherwise.
[With that done, he turns to Black☆Star (who is already in a defensive stance) and, with startling speed, closes the gap between them to punch Black☆Star in the stomach.]
Soul force!
[A flash of blue light radiates out from Stein's fist as he twists it and Black☆Star doubles over it and, a split second later, skids back a few feet. But he manages to keep his feet, which is impressive if the look on Stein's face is any indication. He looks particularly pleased.]
Not bad.
[But that's all he really has time to say before he goes on the defensive, because Black☆Star has recovered from the blow and is attacking Stein with intense speed. Stein deflects blow after blow with his arms, twisting out of the way with apparent ease (though those with sharp eyes will notice that he is taking a glancing hit every now and again--a sign of Black☆Star's skills). Eventually, though, Stein actually knocks Black☆Star back a few feet. That doesn't deter Black☆Star at all, and he leaps back into the fray with a punch aimed at Stein, who (oddly enough) is standing still in anticipation of it instead of trying to dodge.]
BLACK☆STAR BIG WAVE!!
[When the blow connects, blue light washes over the entire room in a rolling wave and Stein staggers a step--but not from Black☆Star's soul wavelength. He just likes being a dick.
With an almost-sinister chuckle, he moves back in and puts his hands over Black☆Star's head. Before he has a chance to back out of what he surely knows is coming, Stein hits him full-on with his soul wavelength. Yellow light flashes between them and it looks like Black☆Star is being electrocuted. This (and Black☆Star's screams--have fun with that, surrounding classrooms) goes on for a good ten seconds before Stein relents and Black☆Star hits the floor, down for the count and bleeding from his mouth and nose. Stein seems unbothered by this and turns back to the class at large, a pleasant little smile on his face.]
So. Are there any questions?
