First Judgment (Video)
[A young woman is looking down at her guide, an instruction manual in her other hand. She looks a bit concerned, and a bit out of her element. It would be easy to compare her expression with that of someone's grandmother trying to figure out their new smart phone when they've never used anything similar before.]
Let's see... that means it's on and connected so.... It's on!
[She quickly puts the instruction manual down, and raises her hand to her mouth to clear her throat. Her tone is cheerful and rather pleasant.]
Hello everyone, I read that it was considered proper to give an introduction upon arrival, which considering the information I learned at the New Arrivals Office that does make a lot of sense.
A little bit about myself. My name is Shiki Eiki, and I'm the Yama of Paradise. I understand that many people may not understand what that means, so with some explanation that is the judge of Hell assigned to the particular area of Gensokyo. Though in reality it includes some other areas, but that's the majority of it. My job is to judge the souls on what kind of afterlife they will have.
Lets see... usually it's hobbies next, isn't it?
My hobbies include fair judgment, and helping those who have fallen astray to their correct path.
[There's a a small pause as she considers something. She had a lot of concerns, so might as well say them now. Her tone changes, before where it was more cheerful, now it's concerned. She is obviously concerned and worried. Her expression changes accordingly and she lifts a long pointed golden item to her mouth, it's done in the same fashion one might a fan.]
Now, though I have not been here for very long yet, I am greatly disturbed by what has been said. Destruction of an entire planet is a serious offense, and to think that Hell or Higan could be seriously part of that destruction is even more concerning. But, looking at this ship and the people here, life must be continuing on as planned, and as long as there is life there must be a place for the dead. A temporary relocation may be an answer. In which case, I promise to continue my duties. If I'm not mistaken there should be some people from my jurisdiction here already? At least... browsing this thing had me run across some familiar names and voices....
I wonder if my jurisdiction would now be this ship...?
