Valentine's Day is short for Saint Valentine's Day, which is the celebration of love, affection, and embracing relationships between couples. It is a day in which lovers express their love for one another by giving each other gifts, whether it be flowers or cards, among other things. It was named after Christian martyrs named Valentine, or something like that.

That’s all you really need to know. Everything else gets pretty boring.

Once upon a time, a man and a woman who were madly in love were out having a romantic evening. The man, who’s name was Valentine, decided earlier that today would be the day he would propose to her.

After the couple had their romantic dinner, Valentine got on one knee, and popped the question. Along with that, he promised that he’d do anything to make sure this day is special for generations and generations to come.

He went through several higher ups to do that, and his wife was ever so thankful that he had gone out of his way to make this day special forever. And thanks to him we have Valentine’s Day!
